New START project granted: Ghost Blood
08/06/2020
The aim of the project is the development of an optically transparent, coagulable blood substitute fluid with structure-viscous properties. This is achieved, among other things, by using ghost cells, transparent erythrocytes. With the help of the new fluid, medical devices such as occluders can be examined in vitro for their coagulation influence at an early stage of development.
