RWTH Themen - Towards an artificial lung

Jutta Arens with NeoNatox Copyright: © Peter Winandy The NeonatOx, an artificial lung for premature infants that is currently being developed, is connected to the blood circulation of the premature baby via the umbilical arteries and veins. The lungs can thus be supported until they are fully mature.
