New DFG project granted: Fluorescent Hemolysis Detection (FHD): Validation of in-vitro test method
11/10/2019
The aim of the project is to establish a new measuring principle for the spatially resolved detection of hemolysis. The aim is to improve the understanding of flow induced hemolysis by correlating hemolysis and flow. The improved understanding allows the significant reduction of blood damage in the development of cardiovascular systems, such as blood pumps or heart valve prostheses.
