Innovation in University Teaching Foundation

For the second time after 2022, the  Innovation in University Teaching 2023 has announced the "Freiraum" project for funding. Out of over 5000 expressions of intent, 500 projects were invited to submit a full proposal. We are pleased to announce that the project "Grasping learning and transforming it through exams: The 3D-OSPIE" by Prof. Dr. Martin Baumann, MME is among the 174 funded projects (six of them at RWTH Aachen University alone). Starting in April 2024, new staff members will work for two years on adapting the "OSPE" form of examination to the natural sciences and engineering, setting it up and determining its quality criteria.
