BMT 2023 in Duisburg

The  Annual Conference of the German Society for Biomedical Engineering took place from September 27-29, 2023. In Duisburg, our working group was set up in a very interdisciplinary way and PD Ioana Slabu, Lennart Göpfert, Max Schoenen and Lukas Glänzer were able to engage in international exchange.

Lennart Göpfert presented research results on high-scale continuous synthesis with turbulent mixing and a millifluidic system. Max Schoenen presented linear magnetic nanoparticle structures for theranostic applications. Lukas Glänzer presented his research on semantic segmentation of vascular structures within histological tumor slices using deep learning.
