Claudio Luisi receives yESAO Exchange Award 2023

Claudio Luisi receives together with Femke Cappon from Brunel University (London, UK) yESAO Exchange Award 2023.

Aim of the study is the development of a hybrid autoregulatory model of cerebral blood flow rate control, incorporating an anatomical model of the large cerebral arteries. By integrating anatomical models and autoregulatory responses into mock circulatory loops, it may be possible to enhance the resemblance to the native cardiovascular system; thus, broaden testing capabilities, further understand the hemodynamics of the cerebral circulation and simulate neurointerventional techniques.
