Personal Data

Prof. Dr. Martin Baumann is adjunct professor at the RWTH Aachen. He received education and grades in electric engineering, physiology, medical education and works as trainer.

Following his research activities at the Institute of Physiology of the RWTH Aachen University Hospital, he became head of the group Biophysical & Education Engineering at the Helmholtz-Institute in 2005.

His teaching projects have been awarded multiple, among those 2nd and 3rd places of the „Professor of the Year“, and the 2nd place of the GEDC-Airbus Diversity Award.

Besides publications on medical nanoengineering and didactics, he is author of the book „Gruppenarbeit – Methoden, Techniken, Anwendungen“.
