State government awards Innovation Prize 2019 to three outstanding female scientists

Three outstanding female scientists have been awarded the Innovation Prize 2019 by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart: After the Future Prize of the Federal President, the Innovation Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia is the highest endowed award of its kind in Germany. It is awarded in three categories: as an honorary prize, for a special innovation achievement and to an outstanding young researcher. category

Dr.-Ing. Valentine Gesché. The researcher and founder has researched and developed textile-based patient-individualized implants that are manufactured cost-efficiently and time-efficiently in a continuous digital process chain.

Pinkwart: "Mrs. Gesché is an outstanding young scientist and brings the entrepreneurial spirit with her to put her research results into practice for the benefit of people.
